When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench,
I can always hear them talk.
Me, I'm just a lawnmower - you can tell me by the way I walk.

The idea of the game

The gardening season has begun!
It’s a race to see who can mow the lawn the fastest.

Beat your neighbor!
Someone has thrown something over the fence to get in your way!
Let’s show them!
Use a mole to stop them from mowing!

Aim of the game and end game

The aim of the game is to be the first to mow the lawn: all the dark green platelets bearing weed symbols have to be turned over.
The first player to manage this wins.
Hidden in the grass you’ll find symbol platelets, for various gardening tasks (e.g. raking, digging, removing a mole hill).
These give each player the opportunity to hinder your opponents (whether by blocking, creating new paths or making gaps), especially the player who is furthest ahead.
Don’t forget that the other players will be out to get you, too, and will throw obstacles in your path to deter you from mowing!

Playing time

About 15 - 60 minutes.
The length of play depends on the chosen track and on the number of players: the longer and more complex the circuit, and the more players, the longer the game lasts.
